The Amazing Race - Season 1 9/27/05

The Season 1 set of "The Amazing Race" has now been oficially announced. The release date was pushed back to September 27th. DVDPlanet has the set as a pre-order for about $27.xx. Extras include an interview with Phil Koegan, Jerry Bruckheimer, a season recap, a 90-minute "All Access Pass" of unaired footage, and perhaps more, including commentaries.

Just a reminder for those like me who didn't start watching TAR until a few seasons in, but don't want to make this investment, TAR reruns start Monday at 9 pm on GSN. It will be aired daily in that timeslot.

I will definitely buy this! Season 1 was great. Good reminder on the GSN reruns too. If you haven't seen this show yet, you really should...

I'd like to see some major documentaries for TAR. I'd love to see how those camera operators coordinate, and keep up with the teams as they run through cities, ride in buses full of crammed in people and get all the shots that would see impossible to get on this show. Sometimes I think they must stand for 20 hours a day!

I agree. There are plenty of times I wonder how they get the shots they get and just how many camera crews they really have.
