HD King Kong Trailer on NBC Monday Night
This coming Monday night there will be a debut King Kong trailer immediately following Fear Factor on NBC. My Tivo shows it in the guide and it also indicates that it'll be available in high definition.
I've set mine up to record it and I thought some others may be interested.

as much as I love trailers, and my new Samsung HiDef TV, I am really trying not to see any footage before I see the film in December, but thanks for the head up - maybe I'll break down and watch it anyway.

caved in - wow! In all it's Hidef widescreen glory - I can't wait to see this. The NYC scenes are obviousily computer generated but still look amazing. Skull Island and the dinosaurs recall the look of Jurassic Park. And that's one huge wooden gate -

Like the ROTS trailer back in March, it was windowboxed. I can't remember if it was shown in DD 5.1 like the ROTS trailer though. It looked cool though. I'd forgotten that it was set in the 30's.

NBC affiliate WPXI-DT in Pittsburgh had it in HD. Looked good. The dinos looked a little too obviously CG, but I expect that's not the finished product yet and will look a lot better in the movie.

Somebody who posted in the "Movie Talk" thread on the trailer says he worked on the trailer. The movie FX are not finished and the ones in the trailer were temp FX.
