Best/worst scene of the 90s

I've got to go with the Normandy scene in Saving Private Ryan. So intense I didn't mind the movie slowing down a little after that.

The worst scene of the 90s is clearly the "You complete me" scene from Jerry Maguire.

Best: Walken/Hopper scene in True Romance
Worst: Hmm... Maybe something involving Jake Lloyd and Jar Jar in Episode 1?

Best Scene: I'll have to think about this one...lots of scenes come to mind.

Worst Scene: I'll have to think about this one too, but the one that comes immediately to mind is the scene from Pulp Fiction. Bruce Willis, carrying the sword, walks into the back room of that shop. You know the scene I'm talking about.

Good call! Where JJ Walker... I mean Jar Jar's tongue goes numb. That scene is horrible!

Worst Scene (tie): Every other scene in The Lost World

Good thread idea.

Best Scene: Saving Private Ryan Normandy scene is a great choice. The scene where you meet Vincent accidently shoots Marvin in Pulp Fiction is one of my favs. The end of The Matrix when Neo finally realizes his powers.

Worst Scene: When I think worst scene I think of a good movie where one scene is just brutal to watch. Jar-Jar fits in here. There's more I just have to think of them.

Good call. Forgot all about that scene but I think it's my favorite from all of the JP films.

My favorite scene from a 90's movie has to be from True Romance. I know most people like the Walken/Hopper scene but I LOVE the Oldman/Slater scene. More tension in that scene then anything I've seen in awhile. These two characters have never met before yet they already hate each other's guts. The techno music in the background really helps the scene as well.

Way too many best & worste to list.

But easily one of the best scenes of the decade is Henry Hill walking into the Copa in Goodfellas.

Worste for me is any scene from Forrest Gump.

Best: Another vote for the Hopper/Walken scene in True Romance.

Worst: The opera monologue in Philadelphia.

Best: The reunion at the top of the grand staircase in TITANIC's final frames; makes this grown man cry like an infant every friggin' time...

Worst: Everything between the opening and end credits of NATURAL BORN KILLERS

BEST: Opening scene in SPR is up there, ground battle in ESB(80s ), but a scene that really gets to me is from the Green Mile when Percy purposely screws up during Dell's death. That is a great scene that is very intense.
The scene in "In the Line of Fire" where Eastwood is chasing Malkovich on the top of the buildings. Awesome scene.

WORST: The animal cracker scene with Affleck and Tyler. horrible.
