I see that Tyson's press conference got a lot of tv time because of his comments that he'll 'Gut' his opponent 'Like A Fish'.

I havent seem any broadcaster make mention that his line isnt an original one, but one that's stolen from the film 'Scream'.

I am sure that there are other instances of someone saying "gut you like a fish" before 1996...

edit: A quick search came up with a Simpsons episode from 1990 with that phrase.

It's common knowledge a fish was never gutted before December of 1996.

I'm not sure why they would need to mention that Scream also made that reference in the past. It's a pretty common saying.

Not to mention the popular Bryan Adams song from 1983.

I guess we shouldnt forget the demented guy with the fisherman's hat in 'I know what you did the summer before the summer I finished the book Camp by Michael Eisner'.

BTW, on ABC news tonight when mentioning Tyson, they did mention his past actions so they didn't forget.

They also didn't realize that his famous taunt "I want to eat your children", was actually a reference to the 1980 cult classic "Cannibal Holocaust".
