Worst Song Name Ever.......

Hey all,

Ok, my first entry is "Heart of the Unicorn" by Gamma Ray.

Your turn.....(try to stick with older, pre-1995 songs, the reason I say that is because many "newer" bands will pick dumb names just to be cool -- the older ones actually thought the song names were cool....)

Maybe we could stick to songs people have heard of before.

I'm a Cranky old yank, in my clanky old tank, on the streets of Yokohama with my Honolulu mama, singin' those beat-o, beat-o, flat on my seat-o, Hirohito Blues.

He he, that's funny--my stepfather is a big Police fan, but he loathes that song for its title alone. Personally, I dig it.

I'll vote for "The Flying Purple People Eater"; fun song, but as a stand-alone title...

Sit on My Face and Bleed by Dayglo Abortions. They have quite a few stupid song titles.

My roommate my freshman year at Auburn bought the 12" version of Toto Coelo's "I Eat Cannibals" and I wanted to freakin' strangle him. This guy had plenty of reasons to be bitch slapped, but this song made me wanna pull his ears off (I'm a peaceful guy... really!). Love me some good, silly new wave, but this song is god-awful... simply horrendous. I'm still unsure how it was ever put off as something adults would want to listen to.

I always wondered why Rod Stewart named his song "Young TURKS"? Young Hearts would have been more appropriate.

From dictionary.com:
Young Turk
1. A young progressive or insurgent member of an institution, movement, or political party.
2. A young person who rebels against authority or societal expectations.
