ARVEN (The Inheritance) June 7

A quick note that Home Vision is releasing the Scandinavian production ARVEN (The Inheritance) on June 7. Starring Ulrich Thomsen (FESTEN) the film won a dozen awards at such prestigious festivals as San Sebastian, The Robert Festival, The Norwegian Film Critics Awards, etc.

I thought this was a very powerful yet quiet film, glad to see it's getting a R1 release.

Err, that's because they are Criterion.

1 or 2 good DVDs from HV but they offer rather mediocre DVDs otherwise.

I love this film. It was one of my favorite films of last year.

I own the import, yet I'm still definately picking up this release as well.
