MGM Legal Settlement DVDs... anyone get them?

I sent in around 6 DVDs a few months back for the MGM Legal settlement thing. I still haven't received my new discs. Has anyone else?

Why would you do that? The whole lawsuit was stupid. Nothing wrong with the discs.

The settlement won't be approved until May, at least, so I tend to doubt you'll get anything any time soon.

That's irrelevant. It may be pretty frivolous, but if we can trade in DVDs we don't want and get new ones that we do want then it's worth it to some. Also, the $7.10 was a pretty good price for DVDs that sell everywhere for $10 new.

To get $7.10 plus postage for some DVDs I couldn't sell for $5 on e-bay.

Haven't gotten my check yet, but I'm not expecting it till May.

Exactly... I didn't know it wasn't happening until May. Thanks for the info. Strange that they had us send in our discs before then. However, I think it's funny that the list of discs eligible for trade-in and eligible to receive have a lot of the same stuff ; )

I wonder if I'll be receiving someone else's trade-ins?

I understand maybe taking advantage of this to trade in some DVDs for others, or to get cash for them. But the OP seemed to me to be talking about sending in discs for replacements of the same titles. Which there is really no need to do.
