Wow! I actually won a DVD from Freebizmag!
I always thought those offers from Freebizmag (that a lot of people used to post in the bargain forums) to receive a free DVD if you were one of the first 150 or so to respond to their email were dubious at best. But one morning while checking my email I saw one of their emails suddenly show up and figured I'd take a chance since I might be one of the first 150 ones to try it. That was a couple of weeks ago.
Well, lo and behold I open my mailbox on Saturday and there's a manila envelope inside just big enough to hold a DVD. I read the label and below my address it reads "Congratulations! You're one of the lucky 150 recipients to receive this free DVD from freebizmag!"
I open the envelope and there's THE INCREDIBLES DVD inside, complete with the slipcase and in Widescreen to boot!
So these offers aren't just a bunch of worthless spam after all. They really do send out a DVD if you get in early enough. However, once the offer gets posted on these boards it's probably already too late. You really just have to be lucky enough to be checking your email when their offer shows up.
Anybody else win a DVD from these guys?

Well, considering that I have over 200 posts to my credit and not one of them has been "spam" before, kinda validates my credibility.

I did get 2 DVDs from FreeBiz but both arrived MONTHS after their release dates. First was Somethings Gotta Give which came about two months after its street date and the second was Kill Bill Vol 1. which was in my mailbox TWO weeks after Somethings Gotta Give.
So my question is...
How did you get your DVD so quickly after release date?

Wow, I can't believe it. Checked my mailbox yesterday and found out that I won another DVD from these guys: SIN CITY, complete with slip case. That makes two in a row. Unfortunately, I don't think I've received any more DVD email offers from them since the SIN CITY one, which was months ago.
