Undeclared - Show by Freaks and Geeks Creator - Now August 16th!

Wow, it's been the Summer of '03 since creator Judd Apatow first spoke about Undeclared coming to DVD, and then it was the Summer of '04 since we last heard anything very in-depth about the status of the project. Now we have a release date, set for deep in the center of the Summer of '05!

DVDPlanet.com has listed Undeclared - The Complete Series for release from The Shout! Factory (via distributor Sony Music) on July 5th. List price is $49.95 for a 4-disc set, but DVDPlanet will set you up right now for just $34.97 if you declare your purchase in advance.

This is great news; the last thing Judd said about this was about 3 weeks ago, and he commented that they were "finishing them up now". We're glad to see that a specific release date was set so fast, and that retailers are already being solicitated to carry it. We'll be back as soon as we can with more info from Shout! on this release. Stay tuned!

Great show, can't wait! I missed F&G when it originally aired but watched Undeclared the entire series, as usual something I liked got cancelled tout sweet.

Beat me to it!

I just got the email from www.tvshowsondvd.com

You should credit them when you post info from them. Otherwise they're not gonna be happy about us sharing their info on this site and I like to think we can all be on the same team.

I check their site every day-they are on top of all things TV.

Great News! I've been waiting for this announcement for years! After Shout Factory's amazing presentation of Freaks & Geeks (w/ the Yearbook Edition), I am highly anticipating this release.

I love Freaks and Geeks to death, yet I've never seen "Undeclared"...Is it worth the blind buy?

I can still remember the episode with Will Farrel. I can't quite remember what it was about but I remember it being hilarious.

I believe he was a speed-phreak essay writer for the students.

The show is worth a blind buy. It's sorta like Freaks and Geeks-the college years.

Surprised no one mentioned DeepDiscountDVD, which has it for $29.91

I'm in Canada, so not worth it for me, but looks like I'll be trading for it in the middle of Summer !!

Good to hear that it is finally coming out on dvd. I am looking forward to getting it. It will look good beside my Freaks and Geeks set.
