How come we haven't/won't see a ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn?

I am sure this was covered somewhere, sometime, but does anyone know why we haven't and most likely won't see a ghost silhouette of the Liam Neeson character from "The Phantom Menance"? We have all others who passed so why hasn't he popped up to give Obi-Wan some needed advice?

He was supposed to in Episode II but the Liam Neeson was injured and couldn't do it. Or so the rumor goes.

To keep the rumor mill cranking, he supposedly does make a cameo in EPISODE III.

although he didn't appear, It could be argued that the soundbite "Anakin! Noooo!" was the spirit of Qui Gon.

Not even argued....it was.

But I think he means an actual ghost that we see.

My bullshit reasoning why we won't see the ghost of Qui Gon Jinn:

You have to prepare to become "one with the Force" when you die - that's why Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin all successfully were transformed into another level of existence as opposed to Qui Gonn, who was unprepared when he was suddenly impaled by Darth Maul's sword.

Obi Wan - who, in his last moment with Darth Vader, had a moment to assimilate himself with the Force, or Yoda and Anakin, who in their last breath had a chance to prepare their souls for their next levels of existence.

And that would also explain why we don't see Mace Windu or any of the other stricken Jedi join in during the Ewok celebration in Jedi - because they're probably struck down without a chance to prepare themselves to become one with the Force.

When you become "one with the Force," you're supposed to disappear. Both Obi-Wan and Yoda did this, but Qui-Gonn didn't.

But what if those Jedi that are killed in combat go to a higher plain/level than those that become "one w/ the Force" before they die. Maybe they are visible only to the Jedi who have become "one w/ the Force" and not visible to the those people that inhabit the living world (i.e.Luke can see Obi-Wan and Yoda, and Obi-Wan and Yoda can see Qui-Gon and Mace).

Qui-Gon is the one that discovers an untapped potential of the Force and he is the one that tells Yoda and Obi-Wan how to keep their identities after death. And if you go by what Lucas says in the ROTJ commentary, the two of them were instrumental in bringing Anakin's spirit over.

ahhh...i don't buy that at all.
Mace and the other jedi's really didn't have anything to do with Luke, only Anakin, Yoda, and Obi-Wan and that is why we see them at the end of RotJ. If Luke saw Mace he mostly likely woud have said "who the f***?"

Why didn't Luke say "Who the fuck is that young punk? That's not who I saw under the mask a few minutes ago" when he saw Anakin's spirit?

I think the commentary of Ep 2 pretty much states that the "Anakin" was Liam Neeson and the "Nooo" was another voice actor, but both meant to be QGJ.

The "Anakin" part kinda sounds like where in TPM he turns and sees Maul heading for Annie in the desert and shouts for him to drop.

Qui-Gon was the first to learn about it, so thats why nobody else knew how to do it?

If Qui-Gon is the one who teaches the others, then why is he someone who didn't do it in the first place? You think he would have made it a little less painful on himself.

I heard that we will see Qui-Gon's ghost, but Liam has been replaced by Jake Lloyd.
