I did a search and didn't see anything on this.
Has anyone seen these films? Apparently HVE is planning to release a boxed set of the three films in April of 2005.
I'm a huge fan of Zatoichi, LW+C, and all of the samurai genre in particular. I understand these are quite different - as a Katsu fan, blind buy yes or no?

I haven't seen them yet either. All I know is that they're politically un-correct!

^"Politically un-correct"? Had to have been drunk while typing that one up.
Anyway, the Hanzo trilogy is set to air on IFC starting tonight. The sequels will follow on the remaining fridays of the month.
There's some movies that I have watched on DVD thinking that "This will never be shown on U.S. television". Looks like I've been proved wrong with one of those selections!
