Last Night's Celebrity Sightings...

Last night I met with six people I made Blue in Green with at an italian restaurant I live near, "Pane e Vino". The first celebrity I spotted was Billy Dee Williams. I'd actually met him before because his daughter is married to a friend of mine. About a half hour later, I recognized Wim Wenders crossing the room to exit out to the patio area. And oddly enough, I'd met him before too. At a screening of Jim Jarmusch's Cigarettes and Coffee. Finally, over a capuccino I nudged my friend to point out John Cleese putting on his coat.

Don't know why I'm posting this really. Would have been funnier if they were all eating dinner together.

I have no idea who any of those people are, and the pictures didn't help (except for Wim Wenders).

and wendersfan, you had me rolling using "youre a bastard and i hate you" twice in a row like that.

GrouchoGuide™
Billy Dee William = Lando
Wim Wenders = director of Paris Texas, Wings of Desire
John Cleese = Monty Python, the new 'Q'

I saw Burt Reynolds at Borders on Sunset & Vine on Thursday looking through the books-on-tape section. He's a lot smaller than he appears on screen.

I'm sorry. The thread is called "Last Night's Celebrity Sightings." Not "Last Night's Models Who Can't Act Sightings."

Come on. Don't throw around the term celebrity so loosely.

I once gave my cab to Margaret Cho in SF. Besides that the only celebrities I've met have been atheletes, Joe Morgan, Jim Plunkett.
