movie quotes that define you or your personality?

these are the ones where, when you hear them , this is kind of your thought on life ect.

Randal Graves
Oh, fuck you! Fuck you, pal! There you go again trying to pass the buck. I'm the source of all your misery. Who closed the store to play hockey? Who closed the store to go to a wake? Who tried to win back his ex girlfriend without even discussing how he felt about it with his present girlfriend? You want someone to blame for today? Blame yourself. "I'm not even supposed to be here today." You sound like an asshole! Jesus, nobody twisted your arm to be here today. You're here under your own volition. You like to think that the weight of the world rests on Dante's shoulders. Like this place would fall apart if Dante wasn't here. Christ, you overcompensate for what's basically a monkey's job. You push fucking buttons. Anybody can just waltz in here and do our jobs. You're so obsessed with making it seem so much more epic and important than it really is. You work at a convenience store, Dante! And badly, I might add! I work at a shitty video store, badly as well. That guy Jay's got it right, man. He's got no delusions about what he does. Us, we like to think that we're so much more advanced than the people that come in here everyday to buy paper, or, god forbid, cigarettes. Well, if we're so fucking advanced, what are we doing working here?

might be a little broad, but I often think about death, my own mortality and find that it motivates much of what i do in life. so, from Lilya 4-ever...

"You will have all eternity to be dead... but you only have a short time to be alive."

Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

If I'm curt with you, it's because time is a factor here. I think fast, I talk fast, and I need you guys to act fast if you want to get out of this. So, pretty please, with sugar on top, clean the fucking car..

I like simple pleasures, like butter in my ass, lollipops in my mouth. That's just me. That's just something that I enjoy.

are you still mad at me? i didn't know you were only 15. i'm sorry if i hurt your feelings or insulted you or embarrassed you or offended you in any way. i've forgiven every insult you've thrown my way since that heated debate we had in another thread. so I'm asking, will you please forgive me and let it go?

So only Groucho can make jokes now?

And if you think I'm 15, "embarrassed," easily "forgiven," or offended, well... Enjoy that fantasy.

let it go
Shit, man, it never was held. I know EXACTLY the type of person you are. I carry no Cygnet baggage.

Scott, I don't know what brought this on, but there's no good purpose for it here. Please stay on the topic at hand.

She'll grow up just like her mother. She'll marry, bear children, and honor her family, spend her youth in needlepoint and rue the day she was born a girl. And when she dies, she'll wonder why she obeyed all the rules of God and country because no biblical Hell could ever be worse than a state of perpetual inconsequence.

There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman, some
kind of abstraction, but there is no real me, only an
entity, something illusory, and though I can hide my cold
gaze and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping you
and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably
comparable: I simply am not there.

I shudder to think that my peronality or myself could be cleanly defined in some throwaway movie quote. Has my life been so inconsequential and meaningless?

Therefore... my entry is
"Mostly harmless"
