Best & Favorite "Biopic" of all-time?
This isn't a poll because I couldn't possibly think of every single biopic movie. I guess I should break this down by which one did you enjoy the most and which one do you think is the best? For some this may be the same movie. For me, personally I think the best biopic of all-time is "Raging Bull" and my favorite is definitely "Ed Wood". How about you?

"The Hurricane" and "White Hunter, Black Heart" (which got me curious about John Huston movies) are two that pop in my head for the moment.

Oh yeah, "Raging Bull" for me too

If one were to use a liberal interpretation of the term 'biopic', then either The Passion of Joan of Arc or Lawrence of Arabia. However, neither of those films attempt to describe more than a brief period in their main characters' lives.

The only biopic I can think of at the moment that successfully describes most or all of the subject's life is The Last Emperor. There's probably an equally great one or two that I'm forgetting.

For pure sappiness I like The Rookie and Rudy.
For action The Samurai Trilogy.

The best over all I think would be Patton.

Ok this was a tv mini-series but what about KENNEDY from 1983 with martin sheen
That was sheen at his best for the small screen.
As for other movies-Nixon,Hoffa and yes RAGING BULL..

b/c probably 80% of the movie is fiction. Not much is known about the real Wallace. The battles were real but that is about it.
