Sandler and Walken "Click" AKA Stay Tuned Meets Bruce Almighty
Adam Sandler will star opposite Christopher Walken in the comedy "Click" for Sony Pictures and Revolution Studios, directed by Juan Jose Campanella reports Variety.
"Click," penned by "Bruce Almighty" scribes Steve Koren and Mark O'Keefe, centers on a workaholic architect who finds a universal remote that allows him to fast-forward and rewind to different parts of his life. Complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.
Walken will play a mysterious man who gives the Adam Sandler character the remote. The project, a co-production of Sandler's Happy Madison and Neal Moritz's Original Film companies, is expected to start in early summer.

Sounds like it might be good. Ever since I bought Tivo last year Ive found myself wanting to fast forward and/or rewind everything including my radio and life. I have to remind myself I cant do an 8 second rewind while at work or school.

I might check it out. 50 First Dates was a nice little movie, and I love Walken. However, I am sure Walken's role will be more or less a glorified cameo.

Doesn't sound so silly to me. Some concepts in films are thoughts we've all had, so we immediately relate to the characters. Who hasn't wanted to be able to fast forward or rewind their own life, just to see, to remember funny moments or fix regrets? This doesn't sound so far off from The Truman Show - we've all had thoughts like "what if my life was actually a TV show", or so on.
My only problem right now is the pair of screenwriters. Bruce Almighty did practically nothing with its concept, and had no closure.
