With the release of the final proper* Elliott Smith album a couple months behind us, what would you consider to be his best album?
(*Yes, I am including from a basement on the hill even though it was completed after his death.)

I voted for Figure 8 but only because i just got it today and its the only one i have even though i knew of him and of course his tragic death but just hadnt got around to picking any up and after the 1st couple listens to this cd im glad i did.

Hey,
I like the self-titled album the best out of all of them. Then Roman Candle, Either/Or and finally the final release. I never really listen to X/O or Figure 8 for some reason. I have the albums. Guess i'll have to give them a listen over. Matt
