This was already mentioned in a thread that announced KOTH S4, as well.

I understand if threads are buried umpteen pages back... but this has been on the first and second pages of this forum all day being discussed. A search option wasn't even required here. Thanks for solving the case anyway, gumshoe

But why would someone who was looking for Simpsons DVD information click on a KOTH thread?

Er, because the thread is called "King Of The Hill Season 4, Simpsons Season 6" perhaps?

The title of the thread says both titles in the NAME so it wouldn't be that hard to find. Great to hear the releases are getting bumped up though. Guess they want to finish so they can start putting out the HD discs of it.

I love how one little phrase can conjure up so many fond memories.

FYI: An "excellent" book for any Simpson fan " Planet Simpson: How a Cartoon Masterpiece Documented An Era and Defined a Generation " is a must read.

That's my favorite Simpsons episode (and my favorite Homer line), so I'm eagerly awaiting this set.

You'll be disappointed then. That episode is from Season 7.

Season 6 also ends with Who Shot Mr. Burns Part 1!

Now we'll have to deal with a DVD cliffhanger...

But this is great, Season 6 not only has some of the greatest episodes of all time, it also has probably the best Treehouse Of Horror, and it has The Critic crossover episode A Star Is Burns. I can't wait to hear the commentary on that one, Groening was against the idea of it that he had his name taken off the episode, should make for a good commentary.

So psyched that this is coming out so fast & even more psyched that they still have commentaries on all the episodes.

IMO the Simpsons commentaries are some of if not consistantly the best commentaries put to DVD. Never a long dull silence, funny & informative (I never knew Conan O'Brian wrote a script for a Hans & Franz movie). Sure the creators do come off full of themselves, but this is a case where they could be, look at the impact of what the created.

Ditto, The Simpsons commentaries are my favorite that I've heard. June seems close considering 5 just came out recently. Fab news.
