I thought you guys would appreciate this info, as I as well was VERY pleasantly surprised. This news doesn't just mean we're getting these seasons on these dates. There's much more meaning behind these release dates. This means that we won't have to wait a gajillion years for the next season of KOTH, and we might be smooth sailing from now on for regular releases of that show. Not only that, but it seems that The Simpsons (although we could have assumed it before with a Christmas release of Season 5 after a summer release of Season 4) is finally showing a pattern of having a normal release schedule instead of that awful year long wait for each season. I don't know if it's just me, but both of these release dates and the insinuations one might make from them, excites the hell out of me

I personally think.......orange or yellow

Um, wasn't there a controversy with the KOTH DVD releases? Like season 2 sold horribly and that's why season 3 was bare bones. So season 4 actually being released means that season 3 sold well? Whatever, I'm sooooo happy!

its about damn time...they will probably start pushing them out 3 times a year so they can be done with it and start releasing HD-DVD releases all over again...

yeh fox is cheap like that... and i hope the quality isnt Full frame for the next releases, with HD-dvd coming out they should at least consider putting it as widescreen+DTS tracks.

I'm glad to see that King Of The Hill sold well enough that they are releasing more seaons sets. I was nervoud for a bit that season 3 sales were gonna suck and I'd be stuck with only 3 seasons.

Now if only something could convince another studio to finish the Mad About You seasons I'd be pretty happy. I hope their sales of the "best of" of sets really suck.

Well if you're going to try and be all smarty-pants about it... it only 'stopped last year' with The Simpsons. The Simpsons out in the summer and then out for the holidays got a lot of people excited as it was unexpected. People had been waiting a long time for King Of The Hill. So from what you're insinuating, Simpsons fits that classification of breaking the once a year release date pattern. King Of The Hill, we waited on for quite some time due to music copyright issues, blah blah blah.

But the main question during the holidays was if Fox was just releasing these seasons during the holidays just to cash in during that time of year or not... but now that these release dates are posted on their website for tv on dvd, we can only NOW finally assume that these shows are going to follow a normal regular pattern for release.

Great news about The Simpsons. I'm really liking this new release pattern, and if it's as feature loaded as the last set few sets than I'm gonna be really happy.

I was looking at the website, and they have a link for a show called X-Files Mythology streeting sometime in April. Anyone know what they are talking about?

Woohoo! Simpsons are rolling out much quicker now, I'm glad! I hope they keep up the bright colors like on seasons 4 and 5. The first three seasons look boring when placed next to the bright blue and red boxes.

Ready for a really sick joke? Look at Groening's (sp?) notes inside the booklet in the first season of the Simpsons near the bottom if IIRC...

Considering the source, i don't see why it would be in either widescreen or have DTS.
