If you're hoping for the deleted Natalie Portman nudity, don't hold your breath...

Believe me, that's not what I'm insinuating.

I have the play book and there are some really good scenes that weren't in the film that I'm hoping are deleted scenes, including a scene where Anna (Julia Roberts) confronts Alice (Natalie Portman) about Larry (Clive Owen).

Also, I'm hoping for a Nichols/Marber/Owen/Portman commentary.

movies unlimited says

Emotional and sexual gamesmanship, as seen through the couplings and uncouplings of four people--photographer Julia Roberts, stripper Natalie Portman, dermatologist Clive Owen, and author/obituary writer Jude Law--living in London, are demonstrated in director Mike Nichols and writer Patrick Marber's time-jumping, acerbic tale of beautiful people and ugly relationships. 104 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS, French; Subtitles: English, French.

DTS? There's gonna be a DTS track?

So unnecessary, but will make it so much better sounding. Especially the Alice/Larry conversation in the Paradise Suite.

Heh, sorry ReduxGuy.

It's a good movie, hope the regular edition with extras doesn't take too long.

With or without the deleted scenes...

From DVDAnswers:

"The only extra material will be The Blower's Daughter music video performed by Damien Rice and previews for other Columbia releases."

That's why it says Extras.

As long as the trailer for the film itself is on there, I'll be happy.

I am very disappointed about the dvd release. Why superbit? I really hope there will be a true special edition in the future. I too hope they release the trailer as well.

I could care less abgout extras for this. The film stands on it's own IMO.

Yeah, I couldn't see myself watching extras about a dialogue/character driven film. Good picture and sound is all I need here.

It was filmed, apparently, yes.

Here's an article written by the playwright where he refers to it being filmed. Note that there are spoilers (at least giving away the thing you had tagged in spoiler warnings).
