Hi,

I have a copy of the American Dreams TV show that has been signed by the cast. My buddy who works on the show got it for me. What I need to know is how do I go about getting a certificate of authenticity for it? Also, does anybody know how much it would cost to do so?

Become a notary or find a notary who can verify it...a coa is of no use unless it is from a major autograph dealer, or is liscenced by a goverment official.

I don't know if PSA/DNA can verify for nonsports, but that's who I use for autographed sports memorabilia. Can be expensive, but worth it in the long run.

Find a UACC (universal autograph collectors club) registered dealer and get one through them.

Unless you plan on selling it I don't see any real reason to get one. I got plenty of signed dvds, never thought to get a COA with them since they were all pretty much personalized or signed right infront of me.

Same here. The only autograph COA I have was part of a signed laserdisc I received as a gift.

I would think a signed/notarized letter from your buddy would suffice - since he worked on the show.

i don't understand why ppl feel compelled to get a COA to feel "complete." obtaining an autograph in a manner such as yours should be self-gratifying enough, unless of course, you are planning to sell it already.
