Question: Evil Dead 2 Limited Edition Tin Packaging

I just recently purchase a "Like New" copy of the Evil Dead Limited Edition Tin and everything is great except the booklet is a bit dinged on all corners from sliding around inside the tin. My question is, is there supposed to be anything in the tin to hold the booklet in place and keep it from sliding around (e.g. foam on top)? I'm curious if my copy is lacking what was supposed to hold all the paperwork in place, and if I should opt for a brand-new copy instead.

no, i don't think so. all of those tins sucked. the edges were round, and all the booklets/inserts weren't bolted down by anything and got shuffled about inside and corners got dented. many of mine were also.

Yeah, there isn't.
IMHO, these tins aren't worth it. It's a nice collector's item, I suppose, but offers nothing more than the regular releases except for some rubbish and costs a lot. I sold both of mine (ED2 and Hellraiser)

I have the Evil Dead 2 tin and the booklet is pretty pointless. Mostly just stills from the film. I have the tin displayed on the top shelf of my DVD bookcases, but other than that there is not much of a point to it.

I have the ED2 Tin along with The Beyond Tin and neither are extraordinary in and of themselves. The booklets do get dinged up. I'm glad I have them as a movie fan but there isn't a lot of point to them.

I have 6 or 7 of those tins....including the ED2. my fave would be the Let Sleeping Corpses Lie tin....at least for the film itself. none of my books are beat up and I sorta like the tins.

I think the AB tins were a waste. I ended up printing up covers, putting the dvds in regular cases, and then putting the tins in a box under my bed.
