The late-November announcement for South Park - The Complete 5th Season told us that the release date would be the 1st of March. Paramount, the studio that distributes the South Park DVDs, has sent a bulletin around that tells us about a new street date. They've managed to speed up the schedule by a week, and the title will now hit stores on February 22nd. As Cartman would say, "sweet".

According to a review of the box set in the new issue of Giant (good mag, by the way) this will include more mini-commentaries. Has this been confirmed, since I remember hearing that maybe they weren't going to have time to do any. Hopefully this wasn't a Maxim-esque "review based on a press-release". The review did have much Scott Tenorman love ("Let me taste the tears!")
