No Retreat, No Surrender- What a cheesy movie
This was a movie that i saw a long time ago when i was a kid
But man, this was so cheesy. The acting can be used for classes as examples of what not to do.
Not to mention this was Jean Claude Van Damme's first US film. Not to mention they had a character of Bruce Lee in the film and it didnt even look like Bruce Lee.

raven,
I was raised throughout Asia until my teens (born in Japan under Chinese/Japanese parents, moved to Taiwan, then Singapore, then Manila, then back to Singapore). I remember this film being a HUGE hit when it was shown in some parts of the region.
When I went to the theatres to see what the hype was all about, I just could not freakin' believe the BS factor in this movie!!! Basically it was like Rocky IV but this time the Russian was played by Van Damme while the hero (who as well has slipped into oblivion) was trained by the ghost of Bruce Lee.
What a crock!!
