Brian Wilson has issued a press release that the cellist for his recent SMiLE album & tour is missing in Thailand. Apparently Markus Sandlund went on holiday with his girlfriend to Khoa Lak after the Australian leg of the SMiLE tour & were at the Orchid Beach Resort's pool when the tsunami hit. They were both swept out to sea, but she was recovered alive. He's still missing at this date.

For those of you who saw the recent SMiLE shows, you know how awesome the Stockolm Strings & Horns are. Very sad news.

What is with all these celebs being in Thailand at the same time? It is just terrible.

I went to the Smile show and they did an excellent job.
