Anyone here actually like Kung Pow! - Enter The Fist??
I finally saw the commentary last night (wasnt as funny as I thought it would be, but still good) and I thought how EVERYONE Ive showed this to has hated this movie. Family friends, everyone. The only other person who likes this movie is my sister. My dad and cousin laughed their asses off at some parts, but didnt laugh at a bunch of other hilarious stuff and just said the movie was stupid and would never want to see it again. My uncle bought it blind and just flat out despised it. This is the main response from friends and anyone else I show this too.
Pretty sad, I thought this movie was hilarious. In fact, I caught some of it on HBO and bought it about a week later on DVD (which is a fantastic edition). I hope Steve stays true to the commentary and makes a sequel eventually.
So come on.. who else has got love for this movie?

I rented this quite a while back. My sister and dad watched it with me, and we all were laughing. Granted, our sense of humor is pretty broad, and I'll laugh at about anything. It was stupid in many parts, but it accomplished what it set out to do: provide me with an entertaining 90 min.

It's stupid and silly... and damn funny. The DVD has some great extras. Plus find me a hotter uni-boob villian:

Bought this at Wal-Mart on Black Friday for $3.88.
I found it a mix bag, some of it was really funny, while some of it was just stupid.
I'm glad they really cut out most of the scenes with his talking tongue thing as well as the scene where his "manhood" dances.
I guess I like it more because I only paid $4.00 for it, if it was more I probably would be more displeased with it.
I would recommend this to anybody who likes this type of humor.
Isn't this the same guy that did Thumb Wars as well as the Jimmy Neutron cartoon series? I enjoy both of those, so maybe thats why I liked this film as well.

I saw this in the theater and several times on DVD and thought it was hilarious.
A friend of mine bought it for his dad, and he absolutely hated it.. this is a man whose favorite movie is Baby Geniuses... figure that out.

"your clothes are red!"
is it a timeless example of cinematic mastery? not by a long shot
is it a pretty funny movie? yeah
but like some comedy movies (cabin boy springs to mind) 70% of the general public probably hate them passionately

It's one of the funniest movies I've seen. Not for the stupid CGI cow or the stupid tongue thing but for the dialouge. If they cut all the obviously stupid stuff out I think more people would like it. It is a very genius concept though to take an old movie and splice in a new actor for the lead and redo the soundtrack. At least I thought so.

Don't take it seriously and you'll have a great time.
And it is funnier if you watch it with friends.
I saw it in the theatres with 3 buddies of mine, laughed the whole time.
The first battle where they kept zooming in was the greatest and the ventriloquists...so many.
