Looking for christian rock ideas for son?
Well my 7 year old wanted a christian rock cd, to give you ideas, he likes KUtless, casting crowns, but also likes things like linkin park. We went to a festival and saw some guy I thought was named tate(he was african american and I think that was his last name) he really wants that cd but I have no clue to the name of it? Any other ideas that are good?

Go Stryper... 80's hair metal band with a Christian message.
I don't actively listen to Christian music, but I have heard music by christian bands.
Jars of Clay comes to mind.
There might be one other, but I can't recall.

Try these bands out for size:
Jars of Clay
Dishwalla
Switchfoot
P.F.R. (Pray For Rain -- "Goldie's Last Day" is an awesome tune)
Seventh Day Jesus
Plankeye (not too big on them, but they're popular in the Christian rock scene)
All-Star United
and most definitely, Relient K
Let me know how these suggestions pan out. Try downloading a tune or two from each band and see what settles in nicely.
