She's only 17 years-old, right? The only song of hers that I've heard is Alfie, but what a great song it is.

Yep. She'll be legal [in the states] next April.

However, it was her voice that actually hooked me. 'magine that. Getting listeners based on your abilities as opposed to the lack of clothing you wear on Rolling Stone, Blender or Vibe.

Crazy, I know.

I heard doing Fell in Love with a Boy on the radio one night on the way home from work, and nearly drove off the road. I am truly enchanted by her.

I didn't like her first album very much, but I love her new album. I love her voice - she sure doesn't sound like a 17 year old.

She's legal in Florida, as long as you're 24 or under, like myself

Bump since this was released today.

Didn't see it at Costco or my shitty local Wal*Mart, but the Circuit City I went to had a 10% off Music DVDs sale which made the cost $14.39.

Only skimmed through it. I don't know how I feel about the MTV style camerawork, but Joss sounds hot as hell and it pissed me off that I skipped this concert.

Well, I didn't do it on purpose. I had a cold that knocked me out.

Oh yeah, the picture's anamorphic and there's also a dts track!

what indeed do you mean by "mtv style camerawork"? i picked the dvd up today, and it was fine. if anything the cuts kind of went with the beat to the song, for some of them. if i can complain, the transfer imo is a bit too bight, but maybe its just me.

By "MTV style camerawork" i'm talking about
  • camerawork that looks like they tied the camera to a bungee cord and let it bounce around the room
  • camerawork that has a cut every .43335 seconds
  • those camera shots that ZOOOOM in really fast and then when they focus on the individual they're zooming in on, they quickly CUT away to another shot.
  • for further reference, see ANY movie directed by Michael Bay or any other director that got their start directing music videos [though i'm not sure he got his start in music videos, i'm sure the latest offender was the director of the Bourne Supremacy [based on what I read]]
Ya know, it's really A-OK to have a W I D E camera shot and let it stay there for more than 2 seconds. There'll STILL be energy there...
