Would he consider doing a sequel of Fast Times or continuation of is his character Jeff Spicoli to see where he is today. You know, Penn could use a much lighter film lately, after Msytic River, 21 Grams, and the upcoming The Assassination of Richard Nixon. I think we could all use some more Spicoli.

Funny you should mention hair plugs, that was the first question asked during the audience Q&A. He said, show me yours and I'll show you mine, then the guy who asked the question walked out.

He actually answered a similiar question saying that he doesn't really care if people listen to him or not, he just says what he wants and feels needs to be said.

Was not able to ask him this question exactly (wish I could as PTA is my favorite director) but he did mention his appreciation of PTA's work. More directly, he said he really stands by his brother Michael Penn and respects him for only doing scores for films he respects (he mentions PTA by name).

Acting. But a new Sean Penn directed film is nearly guaranteed within the next couple of years. He was fairly quiet on details.

He definitely wrote the letter, but was hesitant to discuss details of his opinions about the Team America. He just said he couldn't stand people who had no real passion about the way our country was going.

I also got to interview the writer/director of The Assasination of Richard Nixon, Niels Mueller, and the producer Alfonso Cuaron (Y Tu Mama Tambien and the new Harry Potter). They were both nice guys and I had drinks with them after the interview. I'll post comments tomorrow. They really are film enthusiasts - Cuaron talked about Benicio Del Toro, and Mueller talked about Alexander Payne. Look forward to giving you guys updates tomorrow.

I wonder why he would care..... he can live anywhere he wants... how about he donate half his money to the freaking school system that has been destroyed since 1980...... Why would he, but i thought he cares for the country?

Why not build houses for the homeless or give them jobs on the set of his movies?......of course not...

Why not buy lots and lots of food for old people and give them a chance to have a great meal on a superstar?...... why should he....

He could care less..... make some freaking ultimate sacrifices and then i will believe how passionate you are about this country
