Screamers -- A Philip K. Dick movie
I used to really love this movie as a kid. They've been showing it again recently on one of our cable channels, and at first I wonder why I liked this movie in the first place, but the more I watch it, the more I remember. It's a cool movie based in the standard post-apocalyptic world. Peter Weller is in it, and if you want more Robocop-style acting, I guess this will do. It also has a very Pitch Black kind of feel to it...
Anyway, anyone out there a fan of this movie?

It's funny that you mentioned Screamers. I thought the film was so-so, but I was able to watch it again last month.. on some spanish channel. It's amazing how a "meh" film can become entertaining when you watch it dubbed in a different language.

The movie was okay. Ironically, it's probably the most literal adaptation of a Philip K. Dick story yet. But the story itself wasn't all that amazing, so neither was the movie. I look forward to a PKD movie that isn't an action/thriller based on one of his short stories. A Scanner Darkly is being made, but ever since I learned it would be rotoscope animated like Waking Life, my expectations have dropped way down.

Dick seems to be having an amazing run at movie adaptions of his work, now that he's dead.
I wonder if any other author has had as many movies made of their work?
