Couldn't you make this argument for about 99.9% of the movies out there? In general, movie characters don't go to the bathroom unless it's necessary for the plot.

As my theater instructor always told me: "drama is life with the boring parts taken out". That is why no one goes to the bathroom in movies.

Yeah, he must drop some hefty logs from time to time. I hear there's a cut scene where Chewie leaves the Falcon throneroom with a newspaper under his arm and belts out a mighty roar with the subtitle at the bottom: "Best give it another ten minutes before you go in there, mate". Maybe in the NEXT dvd release of the trilogy.

As explained in many of the Star Wars novels:

Jabba the Hut takes massive disgusting craps.
Bubba Fett does not poo, he is too cool - plus the jet pack is a pain to take off.
Han Solo can take a crap anywhere.
Luke Skywalker prefers to poo only at Uncle Lars and Aunt Beru's place.
The Bantha has pretty massive but frozen poos on Hoth.
Padme would not poo because Natalie Portman does not poo.
Wicket the Ewok is always taking dumps.
Chewbacca, surprisingly, has impressive bowels and rarely poos.
The Emperor, Darth Vader, Darth Dooku and Darth Maul all don't poo - because they are Sith.
Lando actually has uncontrollable diarreah - he's not as cool as you think he is.
Yoda has some nice green poos, not because he is green, but because he is a vegan.

I beg to differ. It was recently released that Han Solo can only poo if Greedo does first.
