Why is Dakota Fanning getting all the major roles?
I don't hate her but what is so extraordinary about her and why is Hollywood giving her top billing in major movies with Sean Penn, Denzel Washington, and Robert De Niro (upcoming film)?

That said, Dakota is one of the few good child actors out there, which is why she's getting all the roles. Simple as that.

I agree she's a very good young actress, but I've not *really* seen anything that tests her range. So far she's done an excellent job at playing very intelligent, articulate kids. But could she play a dumb, marblemouth kid?
