Xbox: ESPN glitch or my system?

Xbox: ESPN glitch or my system?
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar glitches with their ESPN video games. It started for me with ESPN Baseball, the game would not let me pass a certain date 3 years into franchise mode, if I remember correctly it was around September that it would freeze. ESPN football freezes on me when I make it to the 3rd year of franchise mode. While MLB would freeze on calendar screen, football freezes while playing an actual game generally early first quarter. I have restarted,etc. but have not been able to pass said points in these games. I have not used any kind of cleaning product though. Has anyone else experienced this? Also has this happened to anyone with Hockey or Basketball?

I had this problem with EA Sports Madden 2004. I wrote to EA about it and they asked me if I had downloaded a roster. They said the program coulodn't handle all that information. I deleted the roster and started a new franchise. It went past the point it kept freezing at before.

Yep. If I co go simulate to day on the schedule and on the calendar it freezes up on CPU Recruting. I have to restart my XBOX. For some reason it only does it once. After I restart it works fine.

You know, I haven't gone that far into season mode for either game yet, but for some reason ESPN Basketball seems to freeze on me quite a bit... especially on 24/7, when loading the game. Dunno if it's my Xbox or not either...
