List favourite SCI-FI movies and OCEAN movies
I really like sci-fi movies and also movies with a lot of ocean in it, can you guys help name any ocean-related films and only good sci-fi films as you can so I can rent them and maybe buy them. Here are some I already know about..

So here it goes not my "favorites" per se but ones I can thinnk of that have not been mentioned.

Blue Crush--girl surfer movie
Blue Horizon--great surfing documentary
Boys of Summer-surfing the best spots around the world
Thrillers:
The Deep--a decent thriller by writer Peter Benchley
The Island--anotherr Benchley
Dead calm
Liferaft--Hitchcock decent movie about a ship sunk and people who survived on the raft
Sailing or boating:
White Squall--school out at sea
The Wind --sailing movie
Master and Commander
Treasure Island
any of a dozen Pirate related movies do an IMDB on "pirate"
Misc:
The Big Blue--Luc Besson deep water diving movie
any of a dozen Jacques Cousteau documentaries
