My Panasonic DVD Recorder(DMR_30K) just bit the dust. I want to get a good replacement and I was looking at the Pioneer DVR-225. I am recording much of my VHS tape collection to DVD before my tapes go bad. I am hoping someone out there can give me some advice on this model. I am limited in funds, but this recorder is priced right and does much of what I need. Does this recorder allow you to add titles to the different recordings you put on each DVD? I know you can add a title to the whole DVD, but I want to name my chapters too. I also read that it may be possible to have small clips of the titles you record on the main menu as part of the menu, is this true, or is this available only on DVD-RAM? Is the black color adjustment available on this model to increase the contrast for B&W TV programs? Thanks for all the advice in advance!!

hay what up bro ? this is a good dvd recorder , im just like you and like doing all that good stuff to , and this recorder can do it all . i have had mine for five years now , got it in 2004 and it work good up 2008 . had to send it in one time for repair , for some reason it just stop working on me . i got it back now and things are fine . all and all this is a good recorder
