Considering DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball-Thoughts?
I've been thinking about getting this game since the Olympics. Has anyone played it and can recommend it as more than just a skinfest?
Thanks in advance,

It is more then a skin fest, it plays well.
Hovever, do you have a Gamecube? Sega's Beach Spiker plays much better IMO, I believe the reviews back me up on this, but I'm to lazy to check.

I bought this for $4.99 during the big circuit city clearance. I feel I overpaid. My honest opinion. You might like it, if you REALLY like volleyball and REALLY like computer generated women. I thought the volleyball side of things wasn't that great, and I don't care for looking at CG women for more than 30 seconds. Also, I don't care about collecting things, which is another big aspect of this game.

Yeah, I'm not actually in to it for the skin. I had checked out some reviews, which seemed pretty decent. I'll check out Sega's Beach Spiker, though. Any other games you guys think are actually better in terms of straight volleyball?
Thanks,

my gf loved it. she played if for hours and hours. she loved the collecting aspects of it and the gambling engine and its really got good graphics.
The volleyball part can be pretty addicting too.

I thought it was a pretty fun game (i also picked it up for 4.99) and kind of enjoyed the odd collecting aspect of it. Then again, i love old classic cheesecake pin-up art like Bettie Page did so this game seemed in a similar vein.
