I found my old gameboy and broke out Tetris, been awile since I played. I got up to 149 lines but i cracked under the pressure right there. So, what is the most lines you ever had on the original tetris.

I have gotten only gotten 112, my wife has made it to 124.

There was one time when I set up all the blocks on the left side really well, and then BAM I got one of the lines, and put it on the right side, I got 4 lines all at the same time! It was really cool. I really don't see how you can get over 100 lines though, there's no piece that is 100 lines long (the line is the closest, and that's only 4 long)

What it takes to get the rocketship to go off... that's my high.

It's really not to difficult to get over 100 lines, I can usually get over 120 easily, but after that it gets a lot more tough.

I wonder what the record is, I heard it was like 270+

i remember getting over 500,000 points one time, i don't remember how many lines that equated to though.

if you play tetris worlds, the game stops after you beat level 15. From what gamefaqs says, you have to score 600 points to beat it. So I'd say I've made about 500 lines.

I play tetris DX for the gameboy all of the time, and I can easily get to level 30 (300 lines), and then it doesnt get any faster. Once you get to 9,999,999 the score doesnt get any higher. I'm sure judging by some of those crazy tetris videos that people posted back in the day that someone can do a lot better.

Four.. I try for five, but that rectangle piece just isn't long enough!

I remember one of my good friends in college was a maniac at that game, the highest I saw him get was around 209 I think. I always fell apart around 100 or so.

Four is the most you can get! That's why it's called Tetris!

usually mid 180s. but my highest was like 201, after that it just takes like 1 sec for it to drop from top to bottom..

I've finished game B on the hardest setting... got a space shuttle launch at the end.
