I really liked this game on the Sega Genesis.

He just couldn't make the transition from 2D to 3D. Earthworm Jim 3D was just bad.

Why does their ALWAYS have to be a transition from 2D to 3D? I wish some games just stayed 2D.

Especially any 2d games involving any kind of worms. Earthworm Jim 3d sucked and now Worms 3d sucks

The creator of Earthworm Jim, Doug TenNapel, went on to a very successful graphic novel career. His recent Creature Tech book has been extremely successful and highly acclaimed, and he got a movie deal out of it.
