Directv tivo hookup ?
I already have Directv but I want to get tivo. I know you need two inputs but my question is can you split one cable from the sat or do you have to have two seperate cables coming in from the sat. I have my hookup in to the cable box outside the thru the cable input inside to my tv. If i need two inputs then i would have to drill thru my house i assume. pls clear this up for me pls.

I have the tri lnb sat with two receivers hooked up..living/bedroom. I want to get tivo for my living room. i'm thinking i can just split the signal too the two inputs on the box.
how do people hook up 4-5 boxes? it's got to be able to split.

You will need to connect the Tivo with two of the lines coming out of that switch. Check your existing receiver to see how it is connected.
