Im a newbie. What 5.1 Speaker system should i get?

I have a 55 inch HDTV Phillips protection TV What speaker system do i need to get? Any less than 200$?

Nothing worth buying at less than $200. I would suggest working on your budget, you can get a setup that you wont want to throw away for a minimum of $600 like the onkyo HTIB. Realistically I wouldnt buy anthing less than $1000 - $1500 including a receiver and speakers. I spent $800 for a receiver and $700 for speakers, I intend to buy a SVS sub so another $400 - $1000 just for the sub.

For speakers, I used five Carvin PM5-B. $80 a pop.

Receiver? No brainer here.... Outlaw 950

No idea about subs...I would recommend that you get one though
