Anyone Know Of A Good TV Picture Tweaking Disc?

Hi all, I just bought a new Philips TV and it has more color and picture controls than you can shake a stick at. Can someone direct me to a disc that will help to tune in a good reference picture? Not a MOVIE....an actual disc that will help me sync the settings. Thanks!

Hi nightmaster,

I would suggest either Digital Video Essentials or Avia.

It's more basic, but if you don't want to purchase DVE or Avia. You can use THX's Optimizer. It's on all THX certified DVDs since 2000.

Hope this helps.

I have Avia's... it's a bit expensive, and a bit technical, but from what I read, it was the best.

I would go with DVE. Its fairly easy to use and can be had for around $16 at DDD.
