I picked up her CD when it was on sale for 8 bucks or so. Apart from the honky-tonk attitude (which she has in spades) there's not too much going for her IMO.

She's like a Briteny or (insert name here) kind of IT girl for country fans.

From an article I read, she dips tobacco.

So she's certainly not pretending to be redneck or whatever you wanna call it.

Yeah, she knows she's got a nice body and flaunts it in her videos. I like the 3 songs I've heard of hers.

She's hot, but that single "Redneck Woman" is annoying and signifies everything I hate about the country music of today.

Tom Banjo: Thank you for reaffirming my hatred for country music without making me look very far. Those are some shallow, idiotic lyrics, but I guess they go with the style of music.

Don't write off an entire genre of music, just because of that one song. (That's like swearing off Mob films on the basis of Gigli)

There's a lot of great songs out there but, just like pop and rock, the good songs aren't the songs that are played on the radio. You've got to go looking for them. If you ever get the urge, try starting with Johnny Cash, Lucinda Williams or Uncle Tupelo. Or else, pick up a copy of No Depression and pick a group who's interview or review sounds interesting to you.
