Gear in an unfinished basement in a new home.

Are there any issues with putting HT gear in an unfinished basement in a new house?

I cannot finish the basement for 2 years after closing but I still want to have my HT gear down there, are things like condensation an issue?

I would be concerned mostly about dust then moisture.

Depends on the house. If humidity seems high in basement, you might buy a dehumidifier.

No issues with putting your gear in an unfinished basement, only thing is it will look out of place.
