Here we go, i'm on an IRC chat, and it was bugging some dude, and i've heard the song, hit google, but still can't come up with it. Now it's bugging me.
He said it was on a progressive commerical, i've never seen it, but i know the song, i know u guys with this awesome community will give me the band/lyrics withen 1 min.

Its a song by THE VINES ... in the commercial they leave the chorus, RIDE WITH ME RIDE WITH ME RIDE WITH ME HOME ... but the verse is changed ... in the real song it doesn't say "this is how life should be" at least not in the cd lyrics. the song is called RIDE

the vines ride was on a different commercial....the one ur talking about is groove terminator (artist) and This is how life should be (title)
