This is not about your favorite "sex" movie as another thread has that topic. This is about the movie that most realistically portrays the actual act. (No pornos, please)
I think that Cold Mountain is probably the most accurate in terms of conveying the raw emotion when two people share a moment so to say. While the circumtstances are rather awkward, the one in Enemy at the Gates was rather true as well. Interesting that they both involve Jude Law.

Man, I sure wish the site founder would create some sort of mature section to the forum, but I'm sure there isn't that much interest for one..

Jack, while I'm sure that some people might feel like they want to abuse the nature of the topic, I don't mind the thread as is. There's no pictures and there's no discussion of the scenes' content - just the fact they are.
I'll add one. Halle and Billy in Monster's Ball

This very well could have been discussed there and would probably get better discussion. I'm curious as to the point of the realistic, but not real sex question.

Mickey Rourke and Carrie Otis in Wild Orchid. It might have looked realistic b/c rumor was they were actually doing it. Either way it's hot. The movie pretty much sucked though. Nice Brazilian scenery but the plot is lame.
Basic Instinct, Fatal Attraction, Unfaithful, and Angel Heart also had some pretty realistic sex scenes. They worked for me

Interesting how quickly rape scenes were mentioned.

The scene with Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie in Don't Look Now really looked like a normal couple making love rather than going through a choreography for the camera's benefit.

Deniro and Bridgett Fonda in Jackie Brown has to be the most realistic "quickie" in film history....and it's oddly hot too....
Monster's Ball is at the top of the "raw emotion" sex scene.
And who can forget JJ Leigh and Dimone in Fast Times at Ridgemont High?

Because my memory sucks, I'll second the Halle/Billy scene in Monster's Ball, since thats the last one I can remember off the top of my head.

Didnt the movie with James Spader and Susan Sarrandon (sp?) awhile back make alot of noise cause of their sex scenes? I cant think of the movie right now. White something maybe...
