Dog Soliders: Fresh Meat

I'm excited about this one since the first was such a huge surprise for me:

Great News

I really liked the first one so a second one done right would be welcome.

As long as they do not call it Dog Soldiers: Hyperwolves

AAAAwwwwww. Why involve Americans? Isn't it enough we are going to be killed off in the upcoming Aliens V. Predators movie? What about the Scottish? Nobody ever attacks the Scottish.

Dog Soldiers was set in Scotland.

See, the Scots are the ones doing the ATTACKING!

(Although Kevin McKidd, the main man in the first film, is a Scot, so...)

The first was fantastic, the best werewolf flick ever and hopefully the sequel will be as enjoyable.

when I got interested in Dog Soldiers before I also noticed other directors that made great films during that time. so i did a little imdb research, and this is what I came up with. i know a lot of this old news, but it's nice to group them together.

Kurt Wimmer, the director of the movie of what I feel was the most intense 5 minutes of action filmmaking ever, Equilibrium, is shooting Ultraviolet. This is the movie version of a British TV series about modern day vampires. It's starring Milla Jovovich.

Danny Boyle, fresh from his 28 Days Later success has shot his first children's movie called Millions. Sounds like Brewster's Millions for kids. Maybe he'll surprise us.

and finally Rob Bowman (Reign of Fire) is shooting Elektra. He certainly has moved up a rung. It's starring Jennifer Gardner.

I'm thinking it will be just as good as the first because they stated they are going to be "true to the genre".

I really don't see them dropping the ball on this but then again who knows, anything can happen right?

Personally, I can't wait til they make the prequel because I love Origin Stories. I would love to find out how the "family" came to be.
