Masta Killa - No Said Date
Now, MK is probably my 3rd least favorite Wu-Tanger, after Cappadonna and U-God. But this album is total ****ing fire, almost all the beats are great (especially RZA's and Mathematic's contributions), all 8 other official members appear at some point, and Masta Killa actually handles himself really well even on the solo tracks. No Wu fan should miss this one, it's much better than Meth's IMO boring Tical 0.

Capp's flow is weak, and even when he decides to rhyme his lyrics are usually garbage as well. I can't think of a single verse of his I actually like.

I don't really like Cappa either, but his verse on Winter Warz (on Ghostface's Ironman) was on of the illest verses I have heard on Wu album.
And I agree, No Said Date is one of the best solo projects put out by any Wu member. RZA, Math, 4th, and Tru Master really give this the old Wu-Tang sound we have been missing.

Wu is batting 2 for 3 this year with both Masta Killa and Ghost dropping excellent albums (both are in my top 3 albums of the year - so far, of course). Tical 0 was extremely disappointing, to say the least, but if you haven't heard it, you should seek out J. Love's Taste of Tical Part 2. It's a Meth mixtape that has some cuts that didn't make the album (Including one produced by Dr. Dre...great track other than an annoying hook) and alternate versions of tracks that did make the album. It also has some classic Meth guest appearances and some very very old freestyles where he still refers to himself as Shakwon. The mixtape is much more satisfying than the retail.

But didn't cappadonna have the immortal line "I love you like I love my dick size"?
Are Cappa and Masta Killa actually members of Wu Tang? Aren't they more like Shyiem or whatever his name is and more like peripheral guys?

I am bumping this shit!
I always knew MK was dope! This is true-blue-Wu...has the great flow and atmosphere of Raekwon's and GZA's first. Already I think two tracks, "Queen" and "Silverbacks" are classics.
Too bad this will be slept on with little or no MTV and radio play.
If the Clan can maintain this level on their other projects they will be on top of the game again.
