Nice collection, here's my cd collection. Small, I know, but I'm pretty picky and not rich.

How picky? Black on Both Sides isn't that good.

You should wait until a few other people post pictures of their collections before you play your trump card, I think.

If I were to photo my collection here's where I'd have to photo

"Den"
a) in the drawer under the TV
b) the stack next to the bookcase
c) the ones under the left surround speaker
d) the wall unit under the right speaker
e) the four CD carriers under the table
f) the box of CD's that I haven't been able to find a space for
g) the cd/dvd case
h) the three CD boxes that are supposed to hold 25 discs each, but in actuality contain cds/inside booklets.

"Upstairs closet"
a) basket of CD's

"Bedroom"
a) small wooden cd case holding around 15 CD's

"Living Room"
a) basket under mirror
b) metal unit next to couch
c) the 25 CD's on top of the cd player
d) basket under small table to the left of the couch

"Dining Room"
a) wood cd stand

"Basement"
a) the three CD units
b) box of cd's
c) LP's in cabinet

Generally I have so many CD's (not to mention DVD's) that are becoming more and more harder to store.

Ok, this first rack is just U2, Tori Amos, Star Wars, and other 'Score Only' soundtracks, and a few compilation cds, i.e. the Atticus CD:

The wooden rack has 4 sides, these first two sides are the non-score soundtracks, A-B and B-J.

The other 2 sides are J-P and P-Z of course. Actually W, I don't have any 'X', 'Y', or 'Z' bands.

Sorry about the blury image; I didn't have my tripod set up, and it was dark in the room, so I had to use night compensation. Sorry about the mess too, no time to clean recently.

I finally got around to alphabetizing my CD collection after 15 or so years of "stream of consciousness" type sorting that got completely out of wack after a recent move. The result was my collection being neater than it has ever been, thus I felt the need to record it digitally for posterity.

The first pic is everything from Adderly, Cannonball to Zwan, (and Amos, Tori gets her own top shelf and then some) plus some Various Artists CDs on the top right (underneath the lego Slave 1).

The second is a few more various artists, soundtracks and a few Christmas CDs, plus some trading cards and such…
