please help me with assemble a mix tape for my graduation

i plan on giving my 15 close friends a mix tape as well as some other stuff when i graduate june 16th. i've gotten real busy lately and haven't had as much time to research songs as i would like. so i gotta ask for your help.

this is what im looking for:

songs about

1. completion of a hard task

2. something in the future/how you will spend your life

3. graduation

4. college

5. friendship

6. cynicism to school

or anything else you think would be nice to put on a mixtape. gotta remember i wont be seeing these guys much any more at all.

now as for what types of music:

anything and everything. i love indie music as well as every type of music genre out there. my friends are like me, so i want a little of everything. punk, hip hop, heavy metal, whatever. i want to stay clear of big pop hits. dear god, no TIME OF YOUR LIFE or any song you've heard over and over and over before. i want fresh and original.

the only song i have right now is kayne west's ALL FALLS DOWN.

other than that, i dunno what. i deffinitly want a rufus wainwright song on there though. so please help. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

"Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'N Roses- I wanted this to be our graduation song, but nobody else thought so. I guess it was too big of a hit for you, but it would be nice because I don't think many of your friends would be expecting it.

1. "Working in a Coal Mine" Devo

2. That Timbuk 3 song, "Future's so Bright." (Yeah, I think it's really about nuclear war, but the preppies of the 80s sort of made it into their anthem.)

5. "Sally MacLennane" by The Pogues (from the album "Rum, Sodomy, and The Lash")

6. "School's Out" Alice Cooper

You should record yourself talking over the Graduation song by Vitamin C, and just say what you want to them in that time period.

Get the non-"power" version, on the album A Soap bubble and Inertia.
