Anyone listen to H.I.M. (no, not a Christian band...)?
A friend brought it by the other day to show me and I had to go out and buy it. The album (razorblade romance) isn't too bad surprisingly since I've never heard them before. Anyone have any opinions on them or know any background info?

They're pretty big in Europe and most famous for their cover version of "Wicked Game", biggest hit around here was "Join Me", also featured in the movie "The 13th Floor".
Their music is Rock/pop music with gothic and some slight metal influences, their singer looks a bit androgynous and has a quite beautiful deep voice.
They just relesed a Best Of album in Europe ("And love said no").

If I am not mistaken, Bam or his brother actually directed one of their videos. I got this cd when it was finally available in the US, I would like to get more but the flow is slow.

HIM are great, one of my favorite bands, I own their 4 albums. Razorblade Romance is their best album IMO, altough their first one Greatest Love Songs Vol. 666 is top-notch also

my old roommate got the greatest lovesongs heartagram logo tattoo'd on her chest. Looks pretty cool.
I saw them on their last tour around at the bowery....they are pretty good live, but I like the way they sound in the studio better. great consistent band when you are in the mood for it, has love metal even had a domestic release yet?

Hi, my name is harpo787, and I like HIM.
I never thought I'd say I like HIM. I thought people would make fun of me for liking HIM. Now I know longer care what people think about HIM or me.
Does mean I've got a bout of "teh gay" from over at Adult Talk?
PS: I only have Razorblade Romance...I don't want to pay huge prices for import albums...not even albums by HIM. I highly anticpate future US releases by HIM.

I was just going to post a message about HIM a few days ago. I highly recomend picking up all their albums. They are well worth the money. I picked up "Greatest Love Songs 666", "Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlight" and the greatest hits ones from Amazon sellers for about $13 each. They were not bootlegs either. Watch out on ebay, 90% of them are boots. I think some Hot Topic stores sell the import albums too.

Anyone listen to "Daniel Lioneye" yet, HIM's side project with the guitarist singing and ville playing drums? They covered King of Rock`n`Roll that can be heard on Viva La Bam's opening.
