"Bold as Love" - The Movie?
I hear there is a really cool movie being produced right now called "Bold as Love".
Directed by N. C. Mojoran, the movie is a touch of film noir, with a private investigator investigating the death of the husband of a crime syndicate boss, while also examining the interplay between the different crime syndicates.
But it also involves the seamy side of life - graphically showing the sexual results on people of such crime gameplay.
Anyone else heard about this? It sounds like a movie I'd like to see - since it supposedly combines lots of different genres, both as an homage as well as a parody.

I considered Movie Talk, but I'm not sure if I'm being fed a line or not about this movie. If it really is being produced, I'm excited.
Since it is conjectured, I figured here was as good a place as any.

I think the other crime syndicate bosses are males, though.

Any truth to the rumors that it's being produced in Japan, right now, even as we type this?
I don't know that Japan is the right place to film such a thing, since it's supposed to be based in America, but the timing is right for such a film.

I have heard that there is an uncomfortable amount, of, well, gayness in Mojoran's work.

(Also, I don't care how many times you beg, das, I'm not putting you in the story.

Early reports say that the towelboy is fantastic in his group therapy scene. There's early Oscar talk.

I'd definitely buy it when it comes out on DVD, but only if it was packaged nicely...perhaps with some super special whatever edition moniker, and emblazoned with a pretty little bow.

Majoran lost it when he was forced to flee the country to avoid serving the sentence on his conviction for jaywalking (with a minor). While his early work was edgy, now he just exudes that French influence.

I think they should have a character that is impecibly (sp?) dressed, who may or may not know how to spell, but is well spoken.
Yeah..that'd be cool.
